Nitro #199 – February, Week #3 Empty Nitro #199 – February, Week #3

Post  John Greatrix Tue Feb 19, 2019 12:21 am

Charles Offord starts the show in the ring. Offord: “Brock Lesnar came out of nowhere and won the 2019 Royal Rumble. He has then gone on to attack yours truly several times. Tonight, that all comes to an end when Brock Lesnar steps in the ring with me. We are going to end this feud so Nitro can move forward. Unfortunately for Brock Lesnar, our match is a cage match and it’s the main event.”

Brock Lesnar arrives at the arena and starts to make his way to a locker room. The entire trip, wrestlers and staff watch him. Heyman begins to inquire as to what is going on and asks a random staff member. Heyman is informed of the main event match then slowly turns to Lesnar and tells him. Lesnar drops his bag, grabs the staff member and puts him through some spare tables sitting in the hallway. Lesnar and Heyman then grab the things and head to their locker room.

Jojo is in the back with Sasha Banks. Jojo: “Sasha, it all comes out tonight. Alexa Bliss gets her title shot and you get to wrestle for the first time in a while. Are you prepared for such a match after being off for so long? Banks: “It’s never easy being off for so long and then having to defend your title but tonight, Little Miss Bliss eats her words and I walk out still the champion.”

Alexa Bliss vs. Sasha Banks (c) (Women’s Title Match)
We are twenty minutes into this match with Bliss well in control as she stomps Banks in the corner until the ref comes in and breaks it up. Bliss has some choice words for the ref as she grabs Banks by the hair and hauls her to her feet. Banks then eats a few stiff right forearms before crashing to the mat. Bliss again hauls Banks to her feet only to eat some stiff rights from Banks that back Bliss into the centre of the ring. Banks hits the ropes and charges Bliss who counters with a clothesline but misses as Banks ducks and hits The Bank Statement. Bliss is screaming in the ring and when she is unable to grab a rope, she taps out.
Winner and STILL Women’s Champion: Sasha Banks

Renee Young is in the back as Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar pass her. Renee tries to get them to do an interview but neither man appears inclined to stop for her. Both men head out to the ring. Just after that, Charles Offord appears and stops with Renee. Renee: “Mr. Offord, clearly Brock Lesnar is focused on your match tonight. How are you feeling about getting into a steel cage with The Beast?” Offord: “It means I’ve gotten to him, Renee, and in a few minutes, I’m going to teach Brock Lesnar the meaning of pain.”

Brock Lesnar vs. Charles Offord (Cage Match)
Lesnar is in the ring awaiting Offord when the cage begins to slowly lower to the ground. Suddenly, Offord and John Greatrix appear from the crowd and slide under the cage before it fully lowers. Offord enters the ring with Greatrix on the outside. The ref calls for the bell and the match is underway. The second the bell rings, Greatrix slides into the ring and attacks Lesnar. Offord jumps on Lesnar as well and the ref calls for the bell.
Winner: No Contest

Greatrix is laying a beating on Lesnar as Offord grabs a steel chair and proceeds to hammer Lesnar three times on the back. Lesnar refuses to go down though and stumbles around the ring until Greatrix hits a Johnnie Kick that puts Lesnar down. Offord is signalling for the cage to rise. Once it does, Lesnar is dragged to the outside in front of our announce table and thrown onto it. Greatrix climbs to the top and launches himself, landing a diving elbow and sending both Lesnar and himself through our announce table. John Greatrix and Charles Offord stand above a broken Brock Lesnar as the cameras fade out.
