Raw #222 – February, Week #2

We start the show with Billy Gunn and Road Dogg in the ring. Road Dogg: “Well, The New Age Outlaws are back and Jeff Jarrett, we’re taking that title from you then we’re going after the Tag Team championship as well. We have put everyone on notice. The Outlaws are now running this joint.” Billy Gunn: “And if you’re not down with that, we’ve got two words for you………SUCK IT.” Vince Russo’s music hits and he comes out on the stage. Russo: “Actually guys, Jarrett’s not here tonight after your attack last week. He hasn’t been cleared to wrestle yet but have no worries. You have a match tonight and if you can beat them, I’ll give you a shot at the Route 66 Tag Team Titles next week.”

Beaver Cleavage vs. Spike Dudley
The bell rings and Cleavage rushes across the ring and catches Spike with a running knee to the midsection. Spike stumbles back into the corner and Cleavage climbs up on top and starts hitting punches. Spike manages to slip out from the punches and connects with a Powerbomb. Spike climbs up on the second rope and hits a jumping double foot stomp on Cleavage. Spike goes for the cover, 1…2… but Cleavage kicks out at an easy two count. Cleavage uses the ropes to get to his feet. Spike grabs him by the head and Cleavage lifts Spike up and drops him across the top rope. Spike stumbles back holding his throat. Cleavage spins him around and hits him with a stiff Brainbuster and goes for the cover, 1…2…3.
Winner: Beaver Cleavage

Cameras rush backstage just in time to see LOD 2000 attacking The Outsiders. Animal quickly takes Hall out after hitting the Powerslam though the catering table. Heidenreich and Animal team up on Nash. Nash attempts to stand up but is quickly shut down by a pair of quick rights. Heidenreich lifts Nash up by his hair and throws him into the wall. Animal comes running in and connects with a shoulder block driving Nash hard into the wall. Before anymore damage can ensue, security rushes in and pulls the men apart as EMTs check on Hall and Nash.

We go backstage to Mike Adamle. Adamle: “I’m here tonight with Bobby Gunn and Road Dogg. What are your feelings on the mystery opponents that you have tonight?” Billy Gunn rips the mic out of Adamle’s hands. Gunn: “Just shut up. Honestly, if you can’t get anyone’s name right, why do you even do this? Anyways, tonight, The New Age Outlaws will take on whoever Russo can drag up and put tights on. It doesn’t matter who we face because after we demolish them, we’re coming after The Outsiders. That is if there is anything left of them. Now, shut up and get out of our way, we’ve got a match to win.”

The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg & Billy Gunn) vs. Boogie Knights (Alex Wright & Disco Inferno)
Road Dogg & Billy Gunn manage to keep Wright cut off. Wright finally manages to fight back enough to make the tag. Disco rushes in and punches Gunn off of the apron. Disco turns around just in time to hit Road Dogg in the gut with a kick. Disco hits The Chart Buster (Stunner) and goes for the pin. As the ref comes down for the 3 count, he gets pulled out of the ring by a hooded figure. Two more figures slide into the ring. The three hooded figures just stand motionless in the ring. Gunn goes after the one in the middle but before Gunn can even connect with his punch, the figure catches him with a spin kick to the gut and lays him out with The Fame Asser. As Disco uses the ropes to get to his feet, another one of the figures catches him with a Cutter and then throws him over the ropes. Wright and Road Dogg collect their partners and head to the back.
Winner: No Contest

The middle figure has a mic and begins to talk in his altered voice. Figure: “Chaos is coming and Raw will not be saved. The purge will happen and all of you will be put back where you belong. You have soiled his good name and Chaos cannot stand for it any longer. Raw will burn to the ground when we’re done with it and something better will arise from the ashes. Tonight was just a small taste of his power. When Chaos arrives, you don’t stand a chance.” The figure drops the mic and the lights go out and the words “CHAOS IS COMING” light up on the Titan Tron as we close the show.
