PPV #48, Halloween Havoc #4 2018

Vince Russo comes down to the ring. Russo: “Tonight is my first Pay-Per-View so I want to give the fans what they want to see. So tonight, David Arquette will be putting his championship on the line against the one and only, Jeff Jarrett for the Vince Russo Invitational Heavyweight Championship. And because this is Halloween Havoc, I’ve decided to keep with the festivities so The Outsiders will take on the team of The Kiss Demon & Vampire for the Route 66 Tag Team Titles.”

Eddie Kingston (c) vs. ??? (Television Title Open Challenge)
Kingston comes to the ring and waits for his mystery opponent. After a few seconds, music hits and it’s Kevin Owens. When the bell rings, the two men meet in the middle of the ring and start trading punches. Kingston goes into the ropes for a Lariat but Owens reverses it into The Pop-up Powerbomb. Owens goes for the cover and uses the tights, 1...2...3.

Sasha Banks (c) vs. Nikki Bella (Women’s Title Match)
We are halfway into the match with Banks in full control after hitting her double knees in the corner then the double knee to the midsection that left Nikki on the mat crying in agony. Banks walks over to Nikki but is greeted with a stiff boot to the knee. Nikki is to her feet and begins landing right forearms that has Banks on the defensive. Nikki hits a dropkick and poses to the crowd who cheer her on. Nikki hauls Banks to her feet and goes for a slap but Banks ducks and hits The Bank Statement. Nikki tries several times to reach the ropes but is dragged back to the middle of the ring each time. After being dragged back again, Nikki is forced to tap out.

The Outsiders (Kevin Nash & Scott Hall) (c) vs. The Dark Carnival (The Kiss Demon & Vampire) (Route 66 Tag Team Title Match)
The bell rings and The Outsides level The Dark Carnival. Nash picks up Vampiro and hits The Jackknife Powerbomb, sending Vampiro over the top rope to the ground. Nash and Hall team up on The Demon and quickly overpower him. Nash connects with The Jackknife Powerbomb and goes for the cover, 1…2…3.
Winners and STILL Route 66 Tag Team Champions: The Outsiders

Lacey Evans, Rhea Ripley & Reina Gonzalez vs. The Riott Squad (Ruby Riott, Sarah Logan & Liv Morgan)
Both teams take turns with the advantage. Lacey hits a huge clothesline on ruby then goes to the top and hits a Moonsault for a 2 count. After 15 minutes, all hell breaks loose. The six ladies pair off and fight around the ring. Ripley and Logan fight up the ramp. Gonzalez and Morgan battle near the announce tables. Lacey starts yelling at the women on the outside but leaves her back open. Ruby rolls up Lacey and gets her feet on the ropes, 1...2...3.
Winners: The Riott Squad

Roman Reigns (c) vs. ??? (United States Title Match Open Challenge)
Reigns is in the ring awaiting his opponent when Sanity appears on the stage. Sanity declares that all three members will be accepting the open challenge and make their way to the ring. Reigns starts arguing with the ref until he hears the bell ring and can’t believe that this match is now a 3-on-1 handicap match. Dain starts in the ring and it isn’t long before he is in a corner and landing some vicious knee strikes and elbow shots that leave Reigns a bloody mess. Dain drags Reigns out of the corner and tags in Young who circles the downed Reigns for a few minutes then proceeds to land some elbows to the head of Reigns leaving him motionless on the mat. Young tells his guys to leave the ring and the two head up the ramp. Young slides out of the ring, leaving everyone confused and forcing the ref to start his 10 count. Young is halfway up the ramp when the ref reaches 10 and calls for the bell. Sanity stand on the ramp smiling as reigns is announced the winner.
Winner by Count Out and STILL United States Champion: Roman Reigns

David Arquette (c) vs. Jeff Jarrett (Vince Russo Invitational Heavyweight Championship)
The bell rings and it’s quickly obvious that Jarrett is the better wrestler. Jarrett whips Arquette into the ropes and connects with a stiff clothesline, taking Arquette to the mat. Jarrett rolls out of the ring and grabs his guitar. Jarrett slides back in the ring and the ref goes to grab the guitar and Jarrett fights with him. Arquette hits Jarrett in the back with a dropkick sending Jarrett into the ref, knocking him down. Arquette picks up the guitar and plants it across Jarrett's head. Arquette pulls the ref over and makes the cover, 1…2…3.
Winner and STILL Vince Russo Invitational Heavyweight Champion: David Arquette

John Greatrix vs. Bullet Club Elite (Cody, Hangman Page & Marty Scurll)
Greatrix starts the match off strong a looks good for 10 minutes before the numbers game catches up with him. Cody reverses The Greatrixer into a Sitout Powerbomb. Cody, Marty and Page take turns beating on Greatrix. After 10 more minutes, Greatrix ducks a Lariat from Page, rebounds off the ropes and hits a Big Boot. Marty runs in. Greatrix ducks a punch and eats The Sole Food. Cody attacks Greatrix from behind. Cody locks in The American Nightmare but he isn’t the legal man. Marty and Page are to their feet and start stomping Greatrix. The ref gives several warnings but The Bullet Club doesn’t stop and the ref has no choice but to call for the bell.
Winner by Disqualification: John Greatrix

After the match, as The Bullet Club is continuing their attack, Anti-Hope’s music hits and Omeganis heads to the ring. Marty tries to head him off on the outside but Omeganis hits a Running Crossbody. Omeganis slides in the ring but Cody and Page slide out the other side and run away. As The Bullet Club runs to the back, Greatrix gets to his feet to see Omeganis in the ring. Greatrix and Omeganis stare at each other for a few seconds before Omeganis turns around and leaves. Greatrix seems confused as we go to a video package for the main event.

Braun Strowman (c) w/Paul Heyman vs. Charles Offord vs. Brock Lesnar (World Title Match)
Strowman and Lesnar have not held anything back towards one another tonight. Whenever Offord attempts to intervene, he is easily dealt with, leaving the two big men to square off. Offord is whipped into the ropes where he ducks a clothesline from Strowman but runs right into Lesnar who hits Offord with a belly-to-belly suplex then turns his attention to Strowman. The two men meet face-to-face in the middle of the ring with Lesnar throwing the first punch that staggers Strowman who throws a haymaker of his own that floors Lesnar. The two men exchange blows as Offord slowly makes his way to this feet only to eat a Big Boot from Strowman who then turns around and is lifted onto Lesnar’s shoulders. Lesnar has Strowman up for The F5 until Offord chop blocks Lesnar’s right knee. Lesnar drops Strowman onto Offord and falls to the mat holding his knee. Strowman takes the opportunity to throw Lesnar out of the ring, pick Offord up and hit him with a Running Powerslam then goes for the cover, 1…2…3.
