PPV #33, Great American Bash #3 2017

Kassius Ohno (c) vs. Bray Wyatt (European Title Match)
The lights go out and The Wyatt Family come to the ring. Kassius Ohno’s music hits and he comes to the ring. As he is on his way to the ring, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan jump out of the ring and start walking up the ramp to meet Ohno. Before Harper and Rowan can do anything, Cesaro and Aleister Black run down and start fighting them. Cesaro, Black, Harper and Rowan fight to the back. Ohno runs down and slides into the ring. Wyatt attacks Ohno and the ref rings the bell to start the match. Wyatt hits a suplex then follows with a running senton. Wyatt has tried for Sister Abigail a few times but Ohno has slipped out each time. After 20 minutes, Ohno grabs Wyatt in a cravate but Wyatt reverses it and grabs Ohno for Sister Abigail but Ohno slips behind and hits a discus big boot. Wyatt staggers but stays on his feet. Ohno runs into the ropes and hits a running elbow to the back of the head. Ohno covers Wyatt, 1...2...3.

Carmella vs. Jessicka Havok
With James Ellsworth nowhere to be seen, Havok has taken it to Carmella from the very start. We are just 10 minutes into the match and Carmella is face down in the ring motionless. Havok wastes zero time and hits Carmella with The Demon Drop (White Noise) then goes for the cover, 1…2…3.
Winner: Jessicka Havok

After the match, Ellsworth runs to the ring and shoves Havok. Havok doesn’t move and slowly turns around to face Ellsworth who immediately starts to back off. Havok catches him with a stiff clothesline then tosses him out of the ring.

Becky Lynch vs. Anarchy(c) (Women's Title Match) (Submission Match)
As soon as the bell rings, both women charge at each other and start trading blows. Lynch finally gets the upper hand and connects with an elbow. Anarchy stumbles backwards and Lynch grabs Anarchy's arm and tries to pull her down for The Dis-Arm-Her but Anarchy manages to grab hold of the ropes. Lynch releases her arm and Anarchy catches Lynch with a thumb in the eye. Lynch is holding her face. Anarchy uses the distraction and catches Lynch with a kick to the gut and hits The Crucifix Driver. Anarchy gets up and goes to lock in The Scorpion Deathlock but Lynch manages to fight it and kicks Anarchy off sending her through the ropes to the outside. Lynch gets to her feet and connects with a baseball slide sending Anarchy flying into the barricade. Anarchy gets back up to her feet, reaches into the ring and pulls Lynch to the outside and throws her into the barricade and starts stomping her on the ground. Anarchy picks her up by the hair and rolls her into the ring. Anarchy flips her over and locks in The Scorpion Deathlock. Lynch uses all her strength to get to the ropes but just before she reaches the ropes, Anarchy pulls her back to the middle of the ring. Lynch tries to fight it a little longer but Anarchy isn’t breaking the hold. Lynch finally taps out.
Winner and STILL Women’s Champion: Anarchy

After the match, Anarchy is celebrating in the ring with her title. Sarah Logan comes rushing down to the ring and gets in Anarchy’s face. Both women start yelling at each other. Anarchy is the first to react and shoves Logan. Logan comes back with a sickening headbutt and follows it up with a huge clothesline. Logan climbs up to the top rope and connects with a Split-Legged Moonsault. Logan picks up the Women’s Title and holds it high above her head.

Kelly Khaos vs. Matt Riddle (c) (Television Title Match)
For the first 15 minutes of the match, Riddle tosses Kelly around with his superior wrestling abilities. Riddle has locked in a bunch of submission moves but Kelly has been able to make it to the ropes each time. After 10 more minutes, Riddle looks to end it and hits a Fisherman Buster. Riddle goes for the pin but Kelly kicks out at 2. Riddle is a little stunned that she kicked out. Riddle pulls her up and hits The Bro To Sleep (GTS). Kelly stays on her feet. Riddle hits a stiff forearm then goes into the ropes. As Riddle comes off the ropes, Kelly hits The Rear View. Kelly gets a huge burst of energy and hits a Michinoku Driver. Kelly picks up Riddle and hits a Blue Thunder Bomb. Kelly hits The Butterfly Effect (fireman’s carry double knee gutbuster). Kelly goes to the top rope and hits The Red Arrow and goes for the pin, 1...2...3.

The Miz (c) w/Maryse vs. John Cena (United States Title Match)
The Miz and The Miztourage have been very honest to how they feel regarding this match. It hasn’t helped him in slowing down a very angry John Cena who has him in the corner landing knife edge chop after knife edge chop causing The Miz to collapse on the last one. Cena walks to the middle of the ring and looks to The Miz who is out of it. Cena charges and lands a clothesline causing The Miz to stumble out of the corner into The AA. Cena goes the cover. Maryse jumps up on the ring apron and distracts the ref as Bo Dallas and Curtis Axel both slide into the ring. Cena hits Axel with a right but is blindsided by Dallas. Dallas picks up Cena and hits a Rope Hung Rolling Cutter. Dallas then grabs The Miz and slides him onto Cena as Maryse gets down from the apron. The ref starts the count, 1…2…3.
Winner and STILL United States Champion: The Miz

Oyster vs. Mike Bennett
As soon as the bell rings, Oyster rushes across the ring and catches Bennett with a spear driving him into the corner and hitting a few more shoulder thrusts to the mid section. Oyster pulls back and connects with several stiff right hands. The ref gets in the middle and pulls Oyster back. Oyster starts yelling at the ref and goes back on the attack, continuing to hit the stiff punches. Oyster whips Bennett into the ropes and nearly takes his head off with a clothesline. Oyster rolls out of the ring and digs under it and pulls out a chair and rolls back into the ring. The ref warns Oyster to put the chair down but he doesn’t listen and plants the chair across Bennett’s head. The ref instantly calls for the bell.
Winner by Disqualification: Mike Bennett

Oyster continues to beat down Bennett until security comes out and separates the two men.

John Greatrix vs. Randy Orton (c) (Million Dollar Title Match)
John Greatrix comes to the ring and waits for the champ. Randy Orton’s music hits and he comes to the ring with bandages on his ribs as he is still recovering from the beatdown he took on Wednesday. When the bell rings, the two men lock up and Greatrix hits a knee to the injured ribs. Greatrix starts laughing but Orton hits The RKO out of nowhere and both men are down early. Both men are up and trading fists. Orton ducks a haymaker and looks to hit a back suplex but Greatrix grabs his head and hits a Judo hip toss then locks in The Anaconda Vice. After some struggling, Orton gets a foot on the ropes. After 20 minutes of battling, both men go into the ropes and hit each other with a double clothesline and both men are down. Both men are up about the same time and start trading fists once again. Greatrix ducks under a punch, hits the ropes and hits Orton with a big boot. Greatrix picks up Orton and hits a back suplex and goes for a pin but Orton kicks out at 2 and rolls out of the ring. Greatrix goes for a suicide dive but Orton reverses it into an RKO. Orton throws Greatrix back into the ring and follows him in. Orton throws Greatrix into the ropes and hits a snap powerslam. Orton picks up Greatrix but Greatrix hits Orton with a poke to the eye then goes out to the ring apron. Before Greatrix can do anything, Orton runs across and hits Greatrix. Orton grabs Greatrix and hits a rope hung DDT. Orton is feeling it and looks to end the match. Orton goes for The RKO but Greatrix pushes the ref in the way and Orton accidentally hits the ref. Orton can’t believe what just happened. Greatrix rushes at Orton but Orton hits him with an RKO. Randy covers Greatrix but there is no ref to make the count. All of a sudden, Charles Offord runs down and slides into the ring and just stands behind Orton. Orton stands up and slowly turns around. Offord smiles at Orton then grabs him and hits The Chuck Bottom. Greatrix is up and sees what happened. Greatrix and Offord hug then Offord picks up Orton and The Snake Brothers hit a Johnnie Kick/Chuck Bottom Combo. Greatrix covers Orton as Offord wakes up the ref. Charles Robinson starts counting, 1...2...3.

After the match, Greatrix and Offord shake hands then leave the ring and head backstage.

AJ Styles (c) vs. Samoa Joe (World Title Match)
Ladies and Gentlemen, what a match we have had tonight. This has been a back-and-forth for nearly 20 minutes with Joe taking the advantage after landing a headbutt out of nowhere. Joe proceeds to knock Styles down and applies his ground game all the while landing stiff knees or elbows with any given chance. Styles begins to hear the chants from the crowd and slowly makes his way to his feet. After a few elbows of his own, Styles is free and hits the ropes. Upon the rebound, Joe catches Styles off guard and cinches in The Coquina Clutch. The fans jump to their feet as Joe once again works Styles down to the mat. Styles appears to go limp causing the ref to check his arm. At two, Styles’ arm only falls halfway and then stops with a closed fist. Styles once again makes his way to his feet and starts landing elbows causing Joe to break the hold. Styles hits the ropes and the two men land a double clothesline leaving both men face down on the mat. The ref starts the 10 count and at 8, Joe and Styles are up. The two men start landing vicious elbows with Styles hitting more and more. Joe tosses Styles over the top rope but Styles holds on and springboards at Joe, hitting The Phenomenal Forearm then goes for the cover, 1…2…3.
Winner and STILL World Champion: AJ Styles

AJ Styles almost collapses as the ref holds his arm up and he is announced the winner. The crowd cheers him on as he gingerly makes his way up the ramp.

Kenny Omega vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Finn Balor (c) (Cruiserweight Title Match)
As expected, this match quickly turns into a 2-on-1. Balor gets a few lucky blows in but it doesn’t take long for the numbers game to catch up with him. Rhodes whips Balor into the corner and follows it up with a running clothesline. Balor takes a few steps out of the corner and Omega catches him with a running knee to the face. Balor crumbles like a ton of bricks. Rhodes rolls him over and goes for the cover 1…2… but Balor just barely gets his shoulder up. Rhodes picks Balor up and connects with The Cross Rhodes and makes the cover again and again at a close 2 count, Balor manages to get his shoulder up. Rhodes looks visibly angry. Omega picks Balor up and connects with The Dr. Willy Bomb (Gutwrench Sitout Powerbomb) and makes the cover. Just before the ref’s hand comes down, Balor manages to place his hand on the ropes. Omega picks Balor up and sets up for The Rain Trigger (Ripcord Lariat) but when he pulls him around, Balor manages to catch Omega in the gut with a kick and throws Omega into Rhodes sending Rhodes over the top rope to the outside. Balor catches Omega with a schoolboy, 1…2…3.
Winner and STILL Cruiserweight Champion: Finn Balor

After the match, Finn Balor is walking up the ramp backwards holding his belt high above his head. As he gets to the stage, he stops and poses for the crowd. From the back, Bad Luck Fale comes running out and hits him with a huge clothesline. Balor drops on the stage and Fale picks him up and hits The Bad Luck Fall (Razor’s Edge) sending him off the stage onto tables below. Fale holds up the ‘Too Sweet’ to the two men in the ring and heads to the back.
